On the 1st of October 2025, Dubai Opera will host an exceptional evening of music featuring two of the Arab world’s most celebrated voices: Marwan Khoury and Faia Younan.

Marwan Khoury, the acclaimed Lebanese singer, composer, and lyricist, has long been recognized for his poetic contributions to Arabic music. His emotive style and timeless compositions such as “Kel El Qasayed,” “Ya Rab,” “Mesh Am Betrouhi Min Bali,” and “Akbar Anani” have left an enduring imprint on the regional music scene. With a career spanning decades, Khoury still moves audiences with the sincerity of his music and the emotional honesty that defines his work.

Faia Younan, the Syrian artist known for her lyrical elegance and expressive voice, made history as the first Middle Eastern singer to crowdfund her debut single. Launching her career with “Ohebbou Yadayka” via the platform Zoomaal, she has since built a devoted following. Her songs: “Ya Qatily,” “Fi Al Tariki Ilaik,” “Ya Laytahou Yaalam,” and “Ghanni” blend storytelling with traditional influences, offering a powerful and emotional listening experience.

This event promises a profound musical journey steeped in emotion, nostalgia, and cultural richness. It is a rare opportunity to witness two distinctive voices share the stage in one of the region’s most iconic venues.  Don’t miss your chance to be part of an unforgettable night at the Dubai Opera.
