As the inaugural Dubai Premiere edition of the 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐜 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 enters its second day, 𝐒𝐀𝐌𝐈𝐓 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 is thrilled to announce a special performance celebrating the life and legacy of the 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝-𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐮𝐝𝐨𝐥𝐟 𝐍𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐲𝐞𝐯. Widely regarded as the greatest ballet dancer in history, Nureyev transcended borders, helping to popularise ballet with audiences throughout the world with a unique artistry that continues to influence and inspire to this very day.

Now, UAE audiences will be given the unique opportunity to experience the magic and mastery of Nureyev for themselves through a new generation of dancers. 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 to present a dazzling array of highlights from his transformative career, combined with new contemporary pieces that will be performed by an international cast hailing from prestigious companies including; 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐭, the Paris Opera Ballet, the Munich state ballet, the Hamburg Ballet, Dutch National ballet 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬.

𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐚, the dancers shall interpret a number of pieces, each of which has been chosen to represent a 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐍𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐲𝐞𝐯'𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤, from the classical repertoire, which he worked so hard to preserve and invigorate, to contemporary pieces and choreographers, in homage to his indefatigable eagerness to try new things and expand his art to other forms of dance. 


Prefacing the performance, meanwhile, will be a video introduction by the 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐭, 𝐃𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧, who herself partnered with Nureyev on a number of occasions, and the acclaimed actor Ralph Fiennes, who directed and acted in The White Crow, which tells the story of Nureyev's defection from Russia to the West.
