Experience the splendour of Vienna’s musical legacy -  from the sparkling grace of The Blue Danube Waltz  by Strauss, to the brilliance of Mozart’s  Eine kleine Nachtmusik and Divertimento in D major. The evening culminates in the dramatic power of Ludwig van Beethoven, with his string quartet in C minor and the iconic opening of Symphony No.5.

Part of the Strings & Dreams, Virtuoso Sunday Series, the concert invites audiences on a refined journey into the sound world of Vienna. An evening where elegance meets brilliance - and Vienna comes to life through music

Performed by the Baldaquin Ensemble, a world-class string quartet comprising some of the most talented and acclaimed musicians in the classical music scene. It features cellist Petr Gladysh, a three-time prize-winner at the Karl Davydov International Competition and winner of the European Music Competition Paolo Serrao in Italy. Joining him is violist Anna Larionova-Gladysh, a winner of prestigious awards, including the Australian Concerto & Vocal Competition, Rovere d'Oro Prize, and Tadini International Music Competition in Italy.

Violinist Sergei Belozertsev, a laureate of the Andrea Postacchini International Violin Competition and the Mario Fillioley Competition in Italy, will also perform, along with violinist Daria Kuchenova, prize-winner of the Beethoven Competition in the Czech Republic and of the Musahodzhaeva International Competition.

In collaboration with Alena Lavdovskaya, a Dubai-based contemporary artist famous for her stunning body sketches, fashion illustrations and digital art. Alena regularly collaborates with iconic luxury brands and has created the magical 2025 Dubai Mall Christmas & New Year campaign. Alena has created a series of exclusive artworks that reflect the emotional landscapes of the Strings & Dreams Series. These original pieces will be displayed at Dubai Opera and available to buy on the days of performances. A unique experience how classical music can inspire contemporary art where music becomes visible.
