Join us for a remarkable evening as the Polish National Opera Orchestra and the Dubai Festival Choir, under the baton of Patrick Fournillier will be performing the legendary Beethoven's Ninth Symphony celebrating its 200th Anniversary since its premiere.

About Beethoven's 9th Symphony

Composed between 1822 and 1824, Beethoven's 9th Symphony is his final complete symphony and is widely regarded as a masterpiece of Western classical music. First performed in Vienna on 7 May 1824, it stands as one of the most frequently performed symphonies in the world.

The Choral Symphony

Beethoven's 9th was groundbreaking as the first symphony by a major composer to include vocal parts. The final movement, commonly known as the "Ode to Joy," features four vocal soloists and a chorus, with text adapted from Friedrich Schiller's poem "An die Freude" (Ode to Joy) and additional text by Beethoven himself. This movement has become an anthem of unity and joy, recognized worldwide.
