VIP Classical | Italy
For their latest entry in the VIP Classical concert series, SAMIT Event Group presents a piano recital headlined by the Italian pianist Federico Colli, the Gold Medal winner at the Leeds International Piano Competition, and exclusive Chandos Records recording artist.
Praised by The Daily Telegraph for "his beautifully light touch and lyrical grace", Colli has been rapidly gaining worldwide recognition for his compelling, unconventional interpretations and clarity of sound. His first release of Sonatas by Domenico Scarlatti was awarded "Recording of the Year'' by Presto Classica, while the second volume was named "Recording of the Month'' by both BBC Music Magazine and International Piano Magazine, going on to be chosen by BBC Music Magazine as one of the best classical albums.
One of the most prolific and intriguing recitalists of our time, Colli has showcased his mastery in some of the world's most famous halls, and was selected as 'one of the 30 pianists under 30 who are likely to dominate the world stage in years to come' by the International Piano Magazine, as well as being included in Fortune Italia's '40 under 40' list of most influential people in Arts and Culture.
