On Sunday 5th November 2023, ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ฏ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฉ shall be presenting the latest entry in the ๐๐๐ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐ง๐๐๐ซ๐ญ ๐ฌ๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฌ, which will be taking place on the premises of Dubai Opera in the UAE. ๐๐๐ฅ๐ ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐๐ซ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ญ๐ซ๐จ๐ง๐๐ ๐ ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ฆ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ฒ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐ ๐ข๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐ ๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ซ๐๐ญ๐๐ฌ, the concert will feature the talents of two Austrian maestros โ the harpist ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ฌ๐๐๐๐ญ๐ก ๐๐ฅ๐๐ง๐ค, a prizewinner in multiple international competitions, recipient of the Young Celebrity Master award from โHarpMastersโ, and musical ambassador for the New Austrian Sound of Music, as well as pianist ๐๐๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐ง ๐รถ๐๐๐ฎ๐๐ซ, the First Prize winner at the 2021 Piano Competition of Hildegard Maschmann Foundation and 2023 โClassic on Danubeโ International Piano Competition, prizewinner at the 2018 International Summer Academy Competition, and recipient of the Musica Juventutis Prize. Plank shall be the first to open proceedings, starting with Alfred Zamaraโs Mes premiรจres pensรฉes, a romance for the harp, which will be followed by Louis Spohrโs Variations pour la harpe, sur lโair โJe suis encore dans mon printempsโ. Next comes Gustav Mahlerโs Adagietto for solo harp No. 5, in an arrangement by the soloist herself, before the first part is concluded with Elias Parish-Alvarsโs โScenes of my Youthโ, a Grande Fantaisie for the harp. ๐ ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฐ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ฏ๐๐ฅ, Nรถbauer will take the stage to present Robert Schumannโs Arabeske in C major, a work written by a young Schumann in 1839. Next comes Alexey Shor and Mikhail Pletnevโs Piano Sonata, a stunning collaboration from two of the most exciting contemporary artists of our time, after which Nรถbauer will present Franz Schubertโs famously technically demanding 1822 work, Fantasie in C major, also known as the Wanderer Fantasy. Finally, the Austrian pianist will close the concert with Claude Debussyโs joyful 1904 composition, LโIsle Joyeuse.
As an added bonus to this mesmerizing evening, Howard Wong, the ๐๐ก๐ข๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ง๐๐ฎ๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ of SAMIT Event Group's Middle East Orchestra will give a ๐ฉ๐ซ๐-๐๐จ๐ง๐๐๐ซ๐ญ ๐ญ๐๐ฅ๐ค on the "Development of Harp and Piano repertoire" ๐๐๐๐จ๐ซ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐จ๐ง๐๐๐ซ๐ญ ๐๐ญ ๐:๐๐๐ฉ๐ฆ.

Patrons arriving late to a performance will only be admitted into the venue at a suitable break. Latecomers may be seated in alternate seat locations to avoid disruption of the performance.

Food & Beverage purchased outside Dubai Opera are not permitted. Food and beverages are strictly prohibited inside the studio. This applies before the show, during the show and during the intermission. Exceptions may occur depending on the type of event.
